I'm a natural light photographer and specializes in Fine Art portraits and black and white imagery. I'm an Instructor and mentor at In Beauty and Chaos, with a workshop on Light coming out this spring. I also own Blissful Maven Photography. I'm in love with life and want to capture it in my work. I'm a mother of 2 beautiful children and married to my best friend.  My work is real, natural and emotive.  I love capturing life as it happens so lifestyle is what you will see most in my work. My love for photography started when I realized I wanted to capture every bit of my child’s lives that was so fleeting, and never expected for my journey to be as amazing it has become.  I'm so happy to be a part of this amazing community.

April Burns

I always say that I live in a house, on a hill, in the country and I love it. I am married to my high school sweetheart, we have two amazingly beautiful boys and we have a gorgeous dog named Behr. I love them all more than they will ever know. I also have a love for gardening, it amazes me that there is such beauty all around us. I am fascinated by the sky, the clouds and how they are an ever changing painting. I know most people do not see them that way, but just stop and think about how beautiful they really are. I have such a passion for photography, to be able to stop a moment in time is so precious to me. I spend most of my time photographing my boys, my niece, and clouds, lol! Yes I have a crazy fascination with clouds. I am thankful for so many things, the love of my family, being a mom, wife, sister, daughter. I am thankful for this beauty that I am surrounded by and that my husband and I are able to raise our children in this safe beautiful place.

Amanda Burr

I am the "mommy" of two amazing, happy, vibrant, and beautiful children.  I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to stay at home and to enjoy this special time with them.  I am married to my best friend.  A man who has such an amazing ability to make his family feel special each and every day.   I have loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember.  It wasn't until the Summer of 2011 that I truly developed a passion for photography.  I have learned so much in these last few years and have met so many amazing friends along the way.  I hope that one day my children will look back at these images I have captured of them and be able to remember what a wonderful childhood they had.  I want them to see how much I love being their mom and to remember this fleeting time we have together.  I want my daughter to remember how much she loved playing with her "babies" and her never ending desire to dance and twirl.  I want my son to recall his love for the outdoors and all of his thrill seeking adventures.  I want to capture our everyday moments as a family in a very real way…a lasting gift for our children.

Suzie Ziemke

I am married to a rock of a husband who loves me genuinely, and together we are raising four unique and amazing children in southern Minnesota.  I fell into this art form as many have before me, wanting to take better photos of my children.   Over time, through research and much practice it finally all started to click.  My love for photography bloomed from the beautiful works of others, who have inspired me over these past two years.  Moments, emotion, art; it was more than I ever gave photography credit for.  There is so much yet to learn, and so much more growing to be done.  It is a journey.
